Jerome A. Bellotti, CPA
Jerome A. Bellotti and Associates
Jerry is a long-term resident of Santa Clara County. He is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science and Commerce degree from Santa Clara University. In 1998, he founded Jerome A. Bellotti and Associates, a public accounting practice located in Los Gatos. Jerry has successfully represented clients before the IRS and Franchise Tax Board at both district and appeals levels. He has worked with attorneys and law firms as a consultant and an expert witness regarding accounting, auditing, and tax matters. Further specialties include income and estate planning for individuals.
He is an active community member, with previous positions as Chairman and Board member of Santa Clara University’s Accounting department. Jerry serves as Board member of Hope Rehabilitation Services (former Chairman) and Board member of Housing for Independent People (former President).
Gerry Ferrari
Retired Partner, Ernst & Young.
Gerry held various Audit and Advisory positions at Ernst & Young (Arthur Young & Company prior to the 1989 merger) over a 34 year career, which included 22 years as a Partner in the High Technology / Life Sciences Practice in the Bay Area. Over the 34 years, he functioned as a client-handling partner on start-up as well as large public multinational companies. He served as a technical consultant and reviewer, with oversight over the 4 Bay Area offices of EY for approximately 4 years. Gerry also served as the Partner-in-Charge of the High Tech Audit Practice in San Jose and Palo Alto for approximately 4 years.
Since 2000 Gerry has been a member of the Board of Directors and the Finance Advisory Committee at Martha’s Kitchen, a kitchen that feeds the hungry and supports other organizations by providing hot meals for their clients. He also volunteers unloading and sorting food contributions and serving meals at Martha’s Kitchen. Gerry has been a member of the Board of Fellows at Santa Clara University since 1996, serving 2 terms on the Executive Committee.
Gerry was born and raised in San Jose and graduated from Bellarmine College Prep and Santa Clara University. Gerry and his wife, Robin, have been married for 26 years and have 4 children and 4 grandchildren. They are members of St. Christopher Parish in San Jose.
Thomas R. Hogan
Attorney
Thomas Hogan is a practicing trial lawyer, initially in San Francisco and, since 1981, in San Jose. His professional activities include leadership roles in the local American Inns of Court and the St. Thomas More Society. A 1962 graduate of the University of Notre Dame, he has served on Notre Dame's Board of Trustees. Community activities include being a founding member of the San Jose - Dublin Sister City Program, volunteering at Martha's Kitchen and serving as part of the Spiritual Care ministry at El Camino Hospital. As an active supporter of Catholic Charities, he currently serves on the Development Committee.
A native Californian, Mr. Hogan and his wife Mary Ann have been married for forty five years. They are proud parents of four adult children, with ten grandchildren. Mr. Hogan and his wife are active members of the St. Francis of Assisi parish.
Dr. Joseph Krackeler
PhD, Consultant
Dr. Krackeler received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from Villanova University. He received a Master of Science in Engineering from Princeton University and a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from Northeastern University. Dr. Krackeler held many positions at Raychem Corporation including Director of Technology and Vice President of Raychem International.
Dr. Krackeler has experienced a variety of entrepreneurial activities. This includes the starting of a real estate investment news letter, buying a mail order business in sports memorabilia, owning and operating a number of income properties and teaching chemistry and property management at DeAnza College and Foothill College. He also operated a consulting business in the field of polymer chemistry which included technical due diligence for venture capitalists, insurance claims technical investigations, patent and legal suits, patent evaluations and materials science research for clients.
Dr. Krackeler and wife Rita are parishioners at St. Nicholas in Los Altos. He has served in multiple capacities including past president of the Parish Council, past chairman of the Finance Council, past chairman of the St. Nicholas Capital Campaign and past chairman of St. Nicholas portion of the Catholic Foundation Capital Campaign. He is also a founding Board of Director member of the Catholic Foundation of Santa Clara County and has served as both secretary and treasurer of the Board of Directors.
Thanh Nguyen
CEO, Paramit Corporation
Mr. Nguyen earned his Bachelor's of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University. He worked for several high tech companies in a variety of Engineering and Management positions. Then in 1990, Mr. Nguyen co-founded the Paramit Corporation, helping to establish the company's vision of manufacturing technology leadership while building a solid reputation with both customers and suppliers. Currently, Mr. Nguyen serves as the CEO of the Paramit Corporation.
In addition, Mr. Nguyen volunteers as a member of the Board of Directors for the Catholic Foundation of Santa Clara County, as well as a board member of the Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, and American Leadership Forum of Silicon Valley. Mr. Nguyen is a member of St. Mary's Parish, Los Gatos.
Lon Normandin
Owner, Normandin Chrysler
Mr. Normandin is the current President of the Board of Directors of The Catholic Foundation of Santa Clara County. Mr. Normandin received his Bachelor’s degree in Business from Santa Clara University. He is most commonly known as the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Normandin Chrysler-Jeep. Normandin's Chrysler Jeep in San Jose, California is possibly the oldest automotive dealership in America. The dealership’s history dates back to the horse-and-buggy days. It first opened its doors in 1875, two decades prior to the advent of the American automobile industry.
In addition to being a successful local businessman, Mr. Normandin is very active in the community. He donates his time and talents to a variety of charitable organizations. Other than serving on the Catholic Foundation's Board of Directors, he is also the Chairman of the Board of Regents at Bellarmine College Preparatory and a Trustee at Presentation High School. Mr. Normandin is the founder and board member of Heritage Bank of Commerce. He currently serves on the Board of Fellows at Santa Clara University, Bishop's Circle of Excellence, Caritas Society and the Catholic Professionals Club. Moreover, he has served as a Director of Catholic Charities, O'Connor Hospital Hospice Program, Serra Club of San Jose, St. Elizabeth's Day Home and Co-Chairman of the Holy Spirit School Capital Campaign. Lon has been married to Peggy for 49 years, has 6 adult children and 13 grandchildren. Mr. Normandin is a member of St. Mary's Parish, Los Gatos.
Ronald G. Pelzel
Retired Corporate Executive and Community Volunteer
Mr. Pelzel is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati with a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Masters of Business Administration with majors in Accounting and Finance. During his active business career, Mr. Pelzel held executive level positions in Finance, Administration and General Management in the hotel and transportation industries. Previous positions held include President of Viking Freight Inc. and Division President Pacific Intermountain Express, Inc.
As an active parishioner of St. Mary's of the Immaculate Conception Parish in Los Gatos, he was a Founding member of St. Mary's Pastoral Council, also served as a member of the Peace and Justice Council, and was the Parish Chair of the Diocesan Rooted in Faith Capital Campaign. Current activities include the Parish Finance Council and the Parish Transition Team.
He is a member of the Bishop's Circle of Excellence and serves on the Priest's Retirement Board of the Diocese of San Jose, and is a board member of the Catholic Foundation of Santa Clara County.
After many years as an active supporter of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, Mr. Pelzel was elected to the Board of Directors and has served as Vice President and President of the Board. He is also a member of the Charities Housing Development Corporation Board of Directors and currently serves as the Catholic Foundation Board of Directors Secretary.
Ann Gregg Skeet
President, Notre Dame High School
Ann Skeet is the president of Notre Dame High School, a college-preparatory, Catholic school for young woman located in San Jose. Previously, Ann was the Chief Executive Officer of the American Leadership Forum-Silicon Valley (ALF). Ann worked for Knight Ridder at the San Jose Mercury News from 1990-2000. In her last role there, she served as Vice President of Marketing for the San Jose Mercury News and Contra Costa Newspapers.
Ann has served on the board or directors of numerous organizations including United Way Silicon Valley, Harvard Business School Association of Northern California, the American Musical Theatre of San Jose, Silicon Valley Conference for Community & Justice (now SV Faces), the Stanford Daily and the Nonprofit Development Center (now CompassPoint Nonprofit Services) and Children’s Discovery Museum. Ann also serves as a member of the National Leadership Roundtable on Church Management. She is a founder of 1stACT (Arts, Creativity & Technology). She has served on the advisory board for the Commonwealth Club of California and the board for the national American Leadership Forum organization.
Ann is a magna cum laude graduate of Bucknell University, which included a semester of study at the London School of Economics and member of Phi Beta Kappa. She holds a master of business administration degree from Harvard Business School. Ann lives in San Jose, CA with her husband and two children and is a member of St. Martin of Tours parish.
Patrick J. Waite
Retired Corporate Executive and Community Volunteer.
Mr. Waite obtained a B.S. in Economics from Northern Illinois University, and an M.B.A. from the Atkinson Graduate School of Management at Willamette University in Salem, Oregon. His career encompassed finance positions at a variety of Silicon Valley high technology companies, including Memorex Corporation, Tandem Computers and Lam Research. He last served as Vice President, Finance at Seagate Technology.
In addition to the Catholic Foundation, Pat shares his financial and management experience with several other community organizations. He currently serves on the board of directors of Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, the board of regents of Archbishop Mitty High School, and the board of directors of TransAccess. Pat also chairs the Atkinson Advisory Board at Willamette University, and the board of directors of Going Evergreen, a local “clean tech” initiative.
Pat and his wife, Ginny, married in 1981, and have lived in San Jose since 1984. They are involved members at St. Francis of Assisi, where they have served in several ministries. Pat is currently the finance chair for the parish. Their two children attend college; their daughter at the University of Nevada in Reno, and their son at the University of San Francisco.
Charmaine Warmenhoven
Community Volunteer
Charmaine Warmenhoven received a B.A. in Psychology from Princeton University and an M.A. in Special Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Ms. Warmenhoven has spent a 25-year career as a teacher and administrator in Special Education and Disability Ministry. From 1988 through 2001, she was Associate Director of Special Ministries at the Diocese of San Jose. Her work at the Diocese centered on people with disabilities. The ministry assists parishes in the inclusion of people with disabilities into all aspects of parish life. She helped parishes develop catechetical programs for children with disabilities. And her work in Deaf Ministry provided catechesis in sign language for deaf children and adults. Ms. Warmenhoven also assisted in the development of parish-based Pastoral Ministry programs, providing training for Ministers to the Sick and Bereaved. Prior to her work for the Diocese, Ms. Warmenhoven taught in special education classrooms in public and private settings and was the Director of the Scott Parker School for Special Needs students in Henderson, North Carolina.
Ms. Warmenhoven is very active in the community. She is a Board member of the Catholic Foundation of Santa Clara County; a member of the Implementation Fund Grant Committee for the Diocese of San Jose; a committee member of the Campaign Advisory Committee; a member of Bishop's Circle of Excellence and Caritas; Board member of Villa Montalvo; Board member of St. Francis High School and Presentation Retreat Center. Other affiliations include Catholic Charities, Knights of Saint John, the American Cancer Society and the Tech Museum of Innovation. Ms. Warmenhoven and her husband Dan were presented as Laureates at the Junior Achievement Hall of Fame on March 30, 2004.
Ms. Warmenhoven and her husband, Dan, have two children, Eric and Laura. They are members of Sacred Heart Parish in Saratoga.
