Disbursement of Funds to Parishes Policy

Grants and Distributions Made

• Catholic Charities $6.5 Million
  The funds went to Catholic Charities to fund many of their worthwhile programs and services that benefit more than 27,000 disadvantaged and vulnerable people in Silicon Valley every year.
  
  
• Parish Sharing Fund $5.8 Million
  Funds were used to support important work in parish communities.
  
  
• Annual Diocesan Appeal (ADA) $5.25 Million
  In 2007, the ADA was funded entirely from campaign dollars.
  
  
• Debt Reduction $3.2 Million
  Funding allows the Diocese to provide more flexible terms on loans to parishes and schools.
